A guide

A Goodreads for movies and TV

Shelve films and shows the way you shelve books: want to watch, watching, watched, with a rating and a date for each, in the same library as your reading.

The short answer

Atrium works like a Goodreads for movies and TV shows. Films and shows go on a watchlist, move to watching and completed, and keep your rating and watch date, with stats for every year. Your books stay in the same library, and Goodreads and Letterboxd libraries import for free.

What you get

What Atrium does for your films

  • Shelves for what you watchPlan to watch, watching, completed or dropped, like reading shelves, with a rating and a date for every film and show.
  • Your books stay next to themFilms, shows and books share one library, so the adaptation sits next to the novel it came from.
  • Franchises in orderA film's page shows the rest of its collection, so you can watch a series in order the way you read one.
  • A year in reviewStats and Recap count what you watched and read each year, and Best Of lets you rank your favourites of both.

Importing

Bring your history along

The films and shows you already logged come across from Letterboxd, IMDb, Trakt, Netflix and TV Time exports, with ratings and dates where the export has them.

Importing is free, and Atrium only reads your data. Nothing changes in your other accounts.

Already on Goodreads? Your books can come along too, in the same library.

FAQ

Questions

Is there a Goodreads for movies and TV shows?

Yes. Atrium shelves films and shows the way Goodreads shelves books, with a watchlist, ratings and watch dates for each. Your books, anime and games share the same library.

Can I import the films I logged on Letterboxd or IMDb?

Yes. Atrium imports Letterboxd, IMDb, Trakt, Netflix and TV Time exports, so the films and shows you already logged come across with their ratings and dates where the export has them.

Can I keep my Goodreads books in Atrium?

Yes. Export your library from the Goodreads website and upload the .csv on Atrium's Import page. Shelves become reading statuses, and ratings and read dates come across, next to your films.

Does Atrium track TV shows by episode?

Yes. You can mark single episodes or whole seasons as watched, and Up Next shows the next episode of every show in progress.

Is Atrium free for tracking movies?

Yes. Tracking, importing and exporting are free in Atrium, with no credit card. You can export a full backup of your library whenever you like.

Your films belong in one library.

Films, shows, anime, games, books, manga and comics, side by side. Export a full backup whenever you like, at no cost.
